Chevy 700R4/4L60 Stock Plus Transmission Our Stock Plus Transmission is a direct replacement for cars or trucks that are stock or mildly upgraded such as headers, intake and/or carburetor. It is also a great choice for an upgrade to a street rod. This transmission can easlily handle up to 400HP/350Torque. All stock plus 700R4/4L60 transmissions are rebuilt using late 1987 to early 1993 units which are known to have a superior design to earlier units. The stock plus transmission comes with a valve body improver kit. It allows a firmer shift, yet not to harsh to retain driveabilty. All transmissions are completely disassembled, cleaned, hard parts and case are meticuosly inspected. We install trans into test vehicle to ensure all compnents, shifts and pressures are to our specs. Shell has splines sheared of from wear. can also happen to a new shell from a high
torque engine. We replace all drive shells with a heavy duty Drive shell.This
is one of the weak points of the 700R4. When the shell breaks you will loose 2nd,
4th and reverse. |
